Purpose of the Adult Faith Development Survey
Adult Faith Development at UUCUC offers adults of all ages opportunities to learn and grow their spirit. Our aim is to help adults at different stages of life explore their personal values and spiritual beliefs, understand what it means to be a Unitarian Universalist, learn and practice how to be in relationships with others, and discover how to make a difference in the world. We support our congregants in each step of their journey to become spiritually grounded and able to engage the world as a UU with faith and confidence.
This survey was designed to gather feedback from adults at all stages of life so that we can develop adult programming this next church year that speaks to your needs. What would you attend? What are you looking for that we don’t currently offer? Those who participated have a direct impact on shaping our adult faith development program and ensuring that it meets the needs of our community. Your feedback was invaluable to us, and we appreciate your time and effort in sharing your thoughts.
How Many People Participated in the Survey?
The survey went out on January 16, 2026, and was open until February 12th. We received 62 responses. This is out of 318 adult members in the congregation. At 19%, it was a good yield rate. Adults of all ages from Gen Z to the Silent Generation participated, a good mix.

How Will These Survey Results be Used?
The Adult FD team will use the results to consider, develop, and launch relevant faith development programs for adults as they plan your requested programming for the 2026-2027 church year. The team intends to follow up with those people who have indicated interest in leading or teaching a program for Adult FD.
If you are interested in teaching a future faith development program, becoming a team member of Adult FD, or providing additional feedback to the Adult FD team, please contact Rev. Beth Monhollen or Alyssa Knights. We are looking for more people who are interested in getting invovled with all types of Faith Development, so please reach out if that means you!
